Public Holidays Bavaria
All statutory public holidays in Bavaria – calculated from the Bavarian Holiday Act (Bayerisches Feiertagsgesetz).
Bavaria has a total of 12 statutory public holidays, 252 working days and 12 possible bridge days in 2026.
The legal basis is the Bavarian Holiday Act (Bayerisches Feiertagsgesetz) and, for movable holidays, the computation of Easter according to the Gregorian calendar. If a holiday falls on a weekend, the extra day off is effectively lost.
